The beans we roast for this specific coffee are processed by washing the beans, which keeps the sweeter flavors of the beans and prevents them from becoming acidic. Dark roasting these coffee beans creates a sweet flavor with hints of nuts and chocolate. If you like great-tasting decaffeinated coffee, this is for you!
I've sampled numerous decaf coffee blends and Black Skull produces the best - dark, rich, smooth, and delicious - no acidic after-taste! I can't imagine finding another decaf coffee that tastes like this! I'm finally excited about drinking coffee again after cutting out caffeine. This isn't just the best decaf I've ever had, it's one of the best coffees I've ever had. I love a mellow blend with hints of chocolate, and this hits all the spots. Funny story, I bought my first bag of decaf, and my son drank it thinking he was drinking regular. He got more than halfway through the bag before he figured it out.
